We know how to build routes because we ride them.

LetsTripTo is a project by people who love every kind of travel — especially off-road on enduro bikes and ATVs. But we never limit ourselves to just that.

Who we are

A small team with big mileage.

We are a group of people united by a love of travel — from weekend forest runs to multi-day expeditions. Off-road is our passion: enduro, quads, and trails where the map ends and the adventure begins.

For more than ten years we have been planning routes, testing them in the field, and collecting tracks. We started in Google Maps and desktop Garmin apps, long before route planners became a product category of their own.

Years in software

Why we started

We saw great tools come and go.

Over the years we watched convenient route services appear — and disappear. Some simply stopped letting you download routes you had been collecting for years.

Locked-in routes

Services that felt reliable suddenly cut off exports. Years of carefully built tracks were trapped behind a paywall or shut down entirely.

Outdated and slow

Other tools looked frozen in time: clunky interfaces, laggy maps, and workflows.

Not quite what we were looking for

We kept looking for something simple yet capable — at a fair price. Something that does routing well without drowning you in complexity.

Our path

From Google Maps to LetsTripTo.

  • 2012

    First routes in Google Maps

We started drawing tracks by hand — sharing links and screenshots before dedicated planners existed.

  • 2014

    Garmin desktop era

Moved to Garmin BaseCamp and desktop tools for GPX export and navigation device sync.

  • 2019

    New services appear

New route-building services showed up, and at first they were enough.

  • 2023

One of our favorites started to decline

A service we trusted with all our tracks suddenly disabled route exports. Years of work ended up locked behind a paid subscription.

  • 2026

    LetsTripTo is born

The decision to build our own route planner — one that works the way we need.

LetsTripTo is that rare case where deep development experience and a genuine love of travel came together in one project.
